Haha I am so shameless this is just the first time I bake cookies all by myself and I am calling myself a baker queen. Hopeless, speechless. ( if you're a Korean Drama fan, you should know who Tak Goo is. There was this Korean Drama called Baker King- Kim Tak Goo casted by a super cute Korean actor Yoon Shi Yoon and the story is about a very talented boy (in baking bread) striking for his goal and bla bla go and download it yourself and watch. The name isn't the nicest name I've heard though.)
난 cookie왕 장닥구 임니다!!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ~
Woke up early in the morning (not really early though, 10.30am. WHAT? It's holiday, people ARE supposed to wake up as late as possible during holidays OKAY.) and had MANTOU for my breakkie.
Rise and shine, start baking!
Okay before that, camwhore first. Next year, after coming back from NS, I am gonna lose my fair skin. SO SAD.More and more camwhore.
This cookie is also known as Fariel Ariel (OMG Chen Ee Dong's gonna kill me!) because it is Ariel who had given me the recipe. The recipe wasn't created by her though.
Fariel Ariel's Cookie.
2 cups of Brown Sugar
1 cup of butter. (you may need a lil bit more sometimes)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate/ baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 cups of flour
2 cups of oatmeal (Ariel suggested Nestum's oatmeal original flavour or honey)
1 bar of chocolate (baking chocolate)
1/2 pack of chocolate chips
1/2 pack of almond nuts.
So first,
Cream cream cream!
You cream the brown sugar and butter. Then add eggs and cream again. Then add the sodium bicarbonate/ baking soda and baking powder and cream again.
I am fat. :O
brown sugar+buter+eggs+baking powder+baking soda.
until it looks like this.
Pound the almonds and shred the chocolate bar.
After that, mix the cream and flour (sift the flour first) and oatmeal together using your hands. YES, YOUR HANDS. After that add the chocolate bar, chocolate chips, and almonds little by little and mix them.
until it becaomes like this. Mine is a little bit too dry, maybe yours will look more wet.
Then preheat the oven.
While waiting for your oven, shape your er... dough or whatever you call it first.
remember ro spread some butter on the oven plate before placing your soon-to-be-cookie on it.
Put it into the oven. Errr... the baking time and temperature is different with different ovens, but according to some random recipe in the net, they suggested bake for 10 minutes in 375 degree celcius. GOOD LUCK baking.
TADAAAAAA.
You may fail for the first and second batch of cookies, but don't give up! Keep on baking!
This was my first batch :(
But eventually I succeeded HEHE!WARNING: COOKIES ARE ABSOLUTELY FATTENING. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
YAY!!
THAT'S ALL BYE!!!
I think I should start studying already. AGAIN. 'Cause it's exam again when school reopens. Stupid SPM always gives people PMS. UGHHHH.
